Its not directly a bug just wrong listed items in that ./clear command, i accidental used that command today because i thought it will empty a water bucket but it cleared the inventory including diamond tools. But it kept few Star Items, the item that got deleted was a Star woodcutter axe, that should not happen that the command deleting tools specially not star items. also why few items still stayed while lost that one. cant make a total item list because dont have all star items. i hope i get a replacement for the lost woodcutter axe. regards schnetzler ps. i am not the only person who had those accident
Can confirm having had the same issue in a previous season. I didn't think to file a bug report at the time, put it down as a lesson learned.
Yeah not all the star tools or tools in general have lore - the Melon Sword, The Eff10 Axe and the Eff10 Shovel are a few examples. The /clear (or /ci on Main) command ignores tools with lore, it was done this way to prevent owned tools from being cleared accidently. This would happen to the same star tools/unowned regular tools on Main if they were unowned - this I tested via Main This is not really a bug, but working as it should, just the star tools/tools you had on you didn't have any lore and therefore were not exempt. Also for future reference, bucket commands begin with /fill, anything else is not going to interact with your bucket. /fill water and /fill clear for a couple examples.
so you wont do any changes that those tools getting protected from that command? because where is the point on that command when i anyways have to open a chest, pv, disposable because i would loosing tools if i dont do
also if you keep the clear star tools give the least a warning on the command list that few star items will get cleared as well
We will not be making any changes to SkyBlock regarding this. SkyBlock is under code lockdown due to being 1.12.2. We do not have any immediate plans to update at this time. With that said, I believe the /clear command on SkyBlock is still using old code. We as well do not have any immediate plans to update this on a branch dated to 1.12.2.
still sad, that there is no warning that the command will clear few star tools and it should not happen, thumbs down this time
why use /clear I have never used that command before you can pop a [disposal] sign down so use that to clear your inventory. Just make sure you don't accidently put in your star items into it.
SkyBlock may get an update to 1.20.1 (or further) by the end of the year, if time allows for it. At that point, we will have access to all our latest code for SkyBlock. At this time however, for 1.12.2, we will not be making any changes to SkyBlock.
