The current tutorial is long and you dot know what information to remember if its your first time on the server. People may not want to go through the huge tutorial and then do not know what to do.
Right now, our tutorial is set up in a way that lets the user decide what information to read at what time. It's best to encounter an issue then report to the tutorial to find out how to handle it. Though some simplified tutorials can be found on the forums here. Under "Basic Tutorials." What type of information do you think should be explained in this "Simplified" version? And what is it about the current tutorial that you don't like?
You can also use the wiki which is separated into separate sections to quickly find something you need to know.
