This is worldguard's protecting behaviour. Nothing we can do about this sadly. You are at your own risk when purchasing them.
@Chiblin are you sure re-logging didn't bring the Shulker Box back into your inventory (visual glitch?). If it is lost however, it seems this is WorldGuards intended blacklist behavior and there is nothing we can do to change it.
