    It should certainly be free for everyone, it's absolutely necessary.

    Which is why it is free already.

    The reason why /afk is not enabled is because it publicly broadcasts it, which can be quite spammy with many players doing that. Thus we have the more subtle /ch afk that only states it in a direct message when somebody tries to contact you.
