Ign-Shotgunboy0130 Suggestion-/shop plugin Link to plugin-http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/finite-global-shop/ Its one of these 2 http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/commandshops/ Farther Info-So day by day im thinking this isnt a real economy server the prices dont fluctuate their always the same and you either have to buy them from admin shop or from user made shops well so i have this idea of adding /shop. This would make it feel more like an economy, its like stocks the prices go up and down, but on this server their always the same, so instead of having the same prices all the time the people on the server can put their items up for sail by using /sell [amount] [item name] [price per 1] and then if someone wants to buy that item /buy [amount] [item name] [price per 1] now this i think is a great idea, now all of you are thinking but what if people dont want to buy melon blocks well you could also sell them to the server or you can put them up for sale on the /sale feature same with any other item. I think this would be a great addition to the server it would make it feel more like a real economy people battling to see who can get the lowest price. This would also help mods catch dupers as if say someone put 1000 diamonds up on the /shop feature 1 day then the next day another 1000 and if it continues you go check it out. If you think we should have this plugin vote for yes if not say no. I hope you guys really do consider this i think it would be a great feature to have.
Prices go up and down, for example the nether star market seems to always be changing and so does the exp market. I think the current way of doing things is fine.
Well instead of having to waist time typing you can put them on /shop and it wont take people as long to buy and sell things.
It's not supposed to be easy. If you can't sell anything, the only other thing to do is /sell or keep on trying to sell to others. That's why it's Hardcore Economy.
Hard core economy there is no economy the prices never go up or down unless they think you making to much money. In the economy the prices go up and down not just go all the way down and never come back up thats not how its suppose to work.
They go down, they go up. This isn't Easy Mode, its hardcore. Most problems I complain about are supposed to be that way... like MCMMO. Everything's harder to do, and thats the way I like it. Even the lag. Gotta love that lag.
What is your deal with dupers? I think this is your second or third suggestion where you have mentioned it. Regardless, -1 because our current system works just fine as it is
The biggest part is our user to user economy, the usershops at the spawn-shop area, prices fluctuate all the time. You can sell to the server, which is steady, or you can sell to other players, which is not as steady, but you can make more money that way.

It's great that you want to help stop cheaters, but 1. There are Super Mods and Game Admins for this 2. There really hasn't been any now for a few months You think that it is easy to hack the server... it isn't
This is certainly true for exp, diamonds, emeralds, nether stars and gold. However, based on my experience of the last few days, after my return to the server, there are no player shops that will buy iron, redstone or lapis for more than what /sell hand gives. It's also hard to find a player shop that sells clay brick blocks cheaper than the server store at spawn (glockemdown does, but yesterday he was sold out).
xd i just want something so i dont have to waist time finding the cheapest item or talking in trade for hours trying to sell something
I think he is trying to say that you could /buy <itemname or item #> at the price the server shop sells things at. Like the dirt is $50, I think, for 4 stacks and you can /buy dirt <amont> and it cost like $.15 each (per dirt). The price is suppose to be higher then the server price by a bit and higher then players sell the items to others. Not sure if that is what he trying to say but I think that would be a good idea. Also if you want to check the price you can do /shop <page #> and tells you the price and item.
That would work too! I am all for the idea! The prices might have to change later one meaning more people could start playing the server and less items are out there so andrewkm or wewinagain have to change the prices a bit. That is one drawback of the idea.
