The town of Shadowhall was recently acquired by _Stig_ as a place of architectural experimentation with modernist designs. There are several modern and sleek looking houses and apartments available for new residents, all of which come with a built-in farm of your choice. I decided to go with modern housing designs because I was tired of seeing standard wooden houses without any character or aesthetic prowess. I wanted to add a spark of modernist creativity to the ECC community. All houses are custom-built to your choices, and the options available are listed below. There are no plots of land for sale in Shadowhall, only pre-built houses. All houses will cost 2 nether stars, or $1200 in-game credits to pay for the cost of the materials and the time to build the house. Town rules: + Standard server rules No hassling the Mayor with questions or requests No modifying property without the consent of the Mayor, except for adding chests, furniture and similar items The Mayor has the right to request a resident to perform reasonable actions if they are seen to be breaking the town rules No building on land or property that you do not own Players inactive for over 3 weeks will be given a 1 week notice before they are evicted. Eviction notices will be posted on the forum after this 1 week period has expired. All chests, doors and furnaces must be locked, to protect your items and property. You will be reminded to do this in-game. Players are allowed to own multiple properties, but each additional property will be given a monopoly tax of $200 per new property, on top of the price of a new building. Players may rent out apartment buildings that they own, however the Mayor must be involved so that they can add new residents to the town. No building farms without the consent of the Mayor. You will be banned / evicted from the town without warning and /or reported if you: Are banned from the server Grief anywhere in the town intentionally Abuse other town members, including the Mayor Scam other town members or new people looking for property Housing options: All houses are on a 10x10 plot and cost 2 nether stars or $1200 to build. Additional requests, such as more than 3 floors, will incur an additional $100 charge for the cost of the materials. You can choose a house made of either: Stone Stone slabs Light grey clay blocks Snow Your choice of glass: Black glass Grey glass Light grey glass Light blue glass Cyan glass Standard plain glass And finally, you can choose from a: Wheat farm Carrot farm Potato farm And lastly, you can choose how many floors you would like (excluding the farm floor).
