IGN: RyanBlocks2 Suggestion: Something to stop kit players from following people from spawn Reason: People just use 3 kits and follow a player until the grace period runs out where they then proceed to kill the player with their kit. It is impossible for a non kit player to win against this unless he/she gets the best chest rng ever.
Basically we put a magnetic field around non kit users and another with the same pole so that repulsion happens so they can't physically go near them and we also charge up arrows to repel when being shot and make the non kit users invincible!!
While this is actually possible irl, I have a better idea. Don't go to spawn! There are plenty of chests elsewhere for you to get away without being detected. EDIT: With your other suggestion, "Less rules, more fun" how does putting more rules on kit users go along with that? Or are you just going to cry about every issue? Life sucks, lets grow up.
Perhaps you spawn somewhere in the middle of the map. However, the rest of us seem to spawn in the spawn (as it is so aptly named) so its sort of hard not to go there.
Lol what? PVP-ers refer to spawn as the middle chests. (Usually with a crafting bench) The "pedestal" you start on has a lot more directions to go then straight to the middle. While everyone is at spawn, find somewhere else to go.
This is irrelevant to the current suggestion. Just a reminder the suggestion is to stop kitters from following non-kitters from spawn and killing them after the grace period is over.
Hmm. I've been thinking about this for a while. I'll discuss a few ideas with nicit, and then see what the plan will be.
Hmm, a way this might be able to be possible, is through whenever someone types '/kit <kit>' or anyone who has access to a kit that game, can't move off of the starting point for an extra 30 seconds than anyone without kits, which gives people the opportunity to get away from spawn, and not be followed and killed straight away.
Make everyone completely invisible for half of the grace period. That should fix this problem without being too intrusive. Or maybe make names random during grace period, this way you can't target specific users.
Does "invisible" stand for normal potion invisibility or the one that hides held items and any kind of particles?
I'm not sure what leniency on chat rules has to do with kit users following people around until the grace period runs out. I'm also not sure how insulting me will provide helpful feedback on this suggestion. People can still follow you. People with kits tend to just pick a user and follow them until the grace period runs out. Not going to the center doesn't do anything about this.
then communicate with them. particles are visible. it wouldn't be a solution at all. I meant actual invisibility. not the potion type.
+1 Kits are one thing in SG, but consistently being followed straight from spawn, just to turn around and be 2 hit KO'd definitely ruined any enjoyment I had in it. Not to say that every kitter does it, but there's definitely a couple that seem to do it every time they play. I like the invisibility idea, too, especially since instead of punishing kitters specifically, it makes it fair for everyone.
