I was just in a survival game and i was doing the best I've done getting a double kill on 2 people who had a ton of item giving me full gold with a gold bow and a ton of food. Just after killing them i was hoping to find more people since i felt prepared. Just as i went out to find them the server went down. IDK if the server going down was planned or not but if it was one suggestion i have is to let people finish their survival game. Maybe stop people from joining them as they end and then you could let it go down when it ends. Also I have tried to vote consistently and there are days that i only get 4 of the 6 N Stars. IDK if this is an issue in the sites that host the voting or if it is something that the server is messing up. Also the Mining worlds might need to get reset there isn't much to find there anymore Thank You for listening to the rants of a concerned member of this great community.
Often the majority of the players aren't playing Hunger Games, so if the restart is needed to do some sort of maintenance, then of course he's going to bring the server down. Often he only does restarts during Off-Peak, that way he doesn't boot off a large quantity of users. If you notice, there's a warning 10 minutes before the timed restart, to finish up your Hunger Games. Yes, there's been issue with the voting sites recently - I don't believe it's something to do with us, but instead the voting site themselves. It's doubtful that he forgot, so reminding him won't do much. Andrew runs on valve time, so a month could mean a month and 10 days.
