I had been wondering about this for a while, but is there any possible way for a trade sign to send out a redstone charge or an exterior effect to an object that can be affected to redstone like a dispenser or a door? It could be like a regular trade sign, where you can pay or give an item and then you either receive an item or money back, except of it giving an item or Ecocash, it would produce an exterior effect or a redstone charge that would power up an object i talked to a mod about this and he suggested that i put this topic in a forum. Now I know that a trade sign can't send out a charge now, but is there perhaps a plugin or a mod that can do the task or something similar like this? Or if not, will there be a chance of this happening in the future that the operators of Eco-CityCraft Could take into consideration?

I talked about this some with poster, he had some fun ideas so I wanted him to make a topic. You could make pay rooms (pay, opens a door). This could be used in anything from a hotel, to minewars, to storage rooms, pay/toll roads/bridges/lifts. New/variation on casino games. The owner no longer has to operate the switches to power up casino games. Standard randomizer game with a dispenser could now run on its own. User pays, out pops an item of random value. No more risk of pay/bet and hope the owner pays if you win. You could work this into an semi-auto wheat farm. You don't want to afk at a wheat farm you just planted, so the person sits afk until grown, pays to (turn on water, turn off light), which does a harvest. This would work for non-perms people as they can pickup the harvested drops. (owner would need to replant). There are probably way more just a few off the top of my head. The difficulty would be if the Trade sign plug-in could be adapted, and who would do it. Both questions I have no idea of an answer to. RagMan

Yes!!!! i knew that this was a good idea!!!! Burt how can i bump this up to make someone like andrew see this and take it into consideration? And redstone charge signs would make my casinos so much easier to handle!!!
One problem I see with this is you would have to have a second person to test with. As of right now you can't purchase from your own trade sign. If this specific trade sign could have it set that a left click would test the sign and a right click would collect the money, that would be great. Well that's my two cents anyways.
Even though you can't test it on your own, this would still be a great feature to have. There are endless possibilities with this and Andrew should definatly consider adding this to ecc.
I suggested this already a while back. If i remember correctly, kuke said the exact same thing, the nothing happened Anyways, in the mean time i'm going to try and teach myself how to plugin and if I manage to get something to kind of work i'll forward it to khobbits and he can mess with it till it fits into essentials. Highly doubt I will be successful
This is basically and combination of gate signs am trade signs, where when u toggle the gate sign u also toggle the trade sign. Is it possible to link those two signs together somehow, either using the same plugin or another?
