you know how the server claims that the cook pot was taken off do to lag. Even after you pay for one then they just take it away no notice at all. And if you want something like that you have to pay real money. seems like a scam to me. how about yall?
Andrew's post stated the amount of lag from the server console. That is plenty of proof to me that it was a real problem, and the lag makes sense. I personally have noticed better server performance after their removal.
The feature costed $60 to place them, even before andrew changed it. The people still have /smelt, so they didn't get scammed. For players who don't have smelt, we never had the feature, so nothing was taken away from us, technically. I honestly don't see this cookpot situation a big deal. People can do /smelt for you in game. Also many people made business's out of this command (@Samiwarbler ). If getting rid of cookpots reduced lag, then shouldn't we all be happy? I'd rather go to ( For example) sami, for a smelt than deal with lag. -1
I have a sign in my shop (station57) that turns 32 iron ore into 31 iron ingots. So you can smelt a stack of iron ore instantly for the price of 2 bars ($15) per stack.
