Dear Andrew: The server limit is fine at 170. I experience no lag at this point, and anyone who does most likely experiences it due to client side connection errors, not the server. If you could please raise the server limit to anything that isn't 100, I would greatly appreciate it. Your loyal player, lxMiceAttack
I completely agree. Unless you are a donator it is impossible to get on when the limit is at 100. At one point when i tried to get on it said 109/100.
Actually there is MASSIVE lag and restarts every hour or so. 1.3.2 really sucks for multiplayer servers. Mojang lies Fixed Multiplayer lag my foot.
Massive lag? Even at 200 it's pretty dang quick, and I only have 3 GB RAM on a 4 year old computer. I've seen 112, so how are we supposed to get in? Donators make it worse for non donators. I can't buy a donation, ESPECIALLY over $30 dollars that Minecraft costs. How am I supposed to buy a donation feature with ecocitycrafts if we can't get in? I say make the server 170, and keep it that way for a while while we can all try to buy donation features.
The other option is to turn if off for a few weeks while things are being fixed. Let me know what your choice is.. lower limits until fixed, or turned off until fixed. Seriously though, the limits are lowered not at random but by Andrew when things are being patched, fixed, tested, or adjusted to find the right balance. While you may not have lag at 170 the server side could be having a hard time keeping up and will eventually lag out or crash but for the moment its fine. These changes of higher, then lower, then donator only, these will continue to happen until everything is fixed. Playing 20 minutes at 170 and seeing no lag and then having to reboot because the server was about to crash doesn't mean its fixed. Playing with it set at 100 with no lag and the server keeping up is not really a great fix but at times its what has to be done until another solution comes down from the devs, and then we try that and see if it works and if it doesn't we go back down to low numbers. what? just buy 10,000 eco dollars for 10 usd or about 6 gbp that will count as a donation everyone will like you because your the builder that donated and you will almost be able to buy resident and bypass server limit then it then it wont matter what the server limit is and you can even get on donators only 10$ isnt that much i am currently in usa on my holidays 10$ is the equivalent of a meal from a cafe or even less than a meal from a cafe just eat in one day and you will find 10$ sitting in your pocket
The server has been lagging. My computer has fps lag sometimes but I know the difference between server lag and client lag. I have had constant blocks failing to be placed, julting back when walking, not being able to eat food and chests lagging up. This is all server lag. You just to be on during a period when there was lass lag.
