Hey there,i tried to log on last night into the server but it says (no connection) and i tried this morning but it also said the same thing,so i when i came back from work i saw that it wasn't working anymore,anyone know how to fix it? p.s. i restarted the game and my computer about 10 times but it still won't work. Edit: other servers work but this one won't. Edit #2: Well i guess its just just a waiting game in the long run,i am back on ECC,however i didn't find the solution,this error is a pain in the rear because you don't really know how to fix it. Anyway,i would like to say thank you to whoever tried to help me. -BAC

What is the exact message when you try to connect? Timeout exception, connection forcibly closed by remote host etc.? From this screenshot only all I can do is cross out one or two possibilities, but many others remain.
@314 well it says (Logging in...) for a while and then it says (Internal Exception: java.io.IOException: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host)
try creating a new account (user account for computer) then download minecraft type your log in and enter server ip. or buy a new pc . try fixing your wifi as well. Or buy a whole new computer
A domain is generally the name of a server you connect to, for example mc.ecocitycraft.com. This domain is then transferred to another server to transform it into the numerical IP which is then used to connect. About the connection forcibly closed by the remote host, I am not sure about this. I <think> I read something about the server terminating the login because of an error with registering online players, but since andrew said it doesn't even show a login attempt in the logs, I have no idea.
