Hello, I am selling my town. It's pretty empty but has an awesome location in Rising that is within well within walking distance of the spawn. Yes trading in USD is highly bannable. I'd also point out the town at this location... you're not a listed owner.
@Vorbe - That is not legal and is in fact a reason for a ban here on ECC. You may wish to take a few minutes and look thru the rules on the WIKI to save yourself some trouble. Also, since @stigarose (thank you) notes you are not listed as an owner of the town at the coordinates you provided could you please tell us the name of the town and if you are the listed owner?
@Vorbe is "original owner" and at some point must have given ownership to someone else who is inactive. @jmichael214 tried to claim the town alerting @Vorbe. @Vorbe since you are planning on being active and want to sell this town you will need to consult with a game admin to try and reclaim your town. I found no contract preventing you reclaiming since the current owner is inactive. They will, likely, return the town to you where you can sell it for ECD or give it away or hold onto it. Once you are owner again I will be happy to buy it from you, or since @jmichael214 tried to claim it may also make an offer once you're owner again.
@stigarose @AdmiralD @RaginDevonian @Dodos1 The name of the town is Vessari. EDIT: Further, I would suggest that this case is a good reason for revisiting the town claim rules. With all due respect to @Vorbe, he had been inactive on forums for nearly three years when I claimed the town. Now all he wants is USD, and he has no interest in in-game currency. I think this is an illustration of how the current rule can be ... and in fact is being ... used for a purpose other than that which was intended when the rule was written. @Nicit6
He just asked about it, Just cause he didnt know the rule doesnt mean you can crucify him over it xD He has every right to come back after 3 years and keep the town he originally got...just saying... Anyways, good luck with selling your town, like others have said, i would contact a GA to try and obtain your town back as you currently arent a owner on it.
I had no idea this was one of the towns that @jmichael214 had tried to claim (way too old to keep very good track) It would be great if Vorbe would consider "donating" the town to jm if he truly has no interest in playing on the server anymore. I personally will not be making any offer to purchase this town unless jm decides he is not interested.
I've just been looking for an empty town with a pretty name, so I have something to build on. I'm not attached to any one town, but I appreciate the thought.
