He has no problem, can you speak nicely? From what I see you are constantly trying to attract attention and good impression from moderators , however the other side of you clearly shows the direct opposite, you being mean to players and not very helpful.
@AtomBlizzard, firstly I am not a mean player, I just wanted to know what the problem with my bid was. secondly, I know some of the moderators from playing on the server for nearly a year, I do not 'cuddle up to them' I also do not try and atract attention. Well TaylorBros22's post did seem kind of rude... The problem with your bid was thus: It's obvious that 35k is nothing for a town, especially considering that it's nearly flat (depending upon the biome, this could cost around 20-30k to get cleared) The town originally cost 100k (15k for resident, and 85k for mayor) A spawn portal costs exactly 75k... Considering these factors (and sentimental value) I'd value the town at about 230k ECD Incase you think that the value of the town is less simply because Cardinal3 is not the original owner... then let me just ask you: Does winning 30 Million Dollars in the (real life) lottery not count just because you are not the original owner of that 30 Million?
Obviously not, but as there was no set price I thought I would start of low, secondly it nakes a big difference if he is not the owner, as he hasnt paid the 230k it costs to get it. I just wanted a second, flat town and as im limited with my funds I wanted to start low Sorry if these posts have offended anyone, they were not meant to.
I appreciate your support and intervention. So thank you for that Yes it is correct that I did not have a set price. Nonetheless, I did expect them to be reasonable. And please do make comments as to why you believe me not being the owner makes a big difference. I would like to explain a few things. 1. No I am not technically the original owner. However, I know this person IRL and he has no plans to EVER come back onto this server. 2. I was friends with the original owner since he was a builder. I have helped him since. 3. The 175k that it did take to make town wasn't entirely mine. But I would like to point out that I made up 140k of the full 175k. 4. I am the one who finished the dirt placing of 200x200 blocks as well as the walls and parts of the interior. I set this town to where it is and gave the formatted application for the original owner to post as well as the remaining funds. Though I am not technically the original owner, I am certainly as close as they come. I do understand your low funds as I was a mayor before. So in no way am I trying to degrade your offer. I just ask you to understand the time and money put into this and that I, as well as you, am looking to make a profit. Not fully 175k back, but definitely higher than 30k. And on a side note, instead of being referred to as "he", the correct term is "she".
Flat towns aren't worth 230k; properties never add up to the original amount (or at least from past experiences of buying/selling towns) that was spent on them. On the other hand, I'd value this town at around 100k-150k
@Cardinal3, hi,Is there a minimum price you would like to set here, because, as you can see I have never bought a town before! Also a maximum time period so one can bid then if you accept the bid and no other offer is made it is sold to that player after x amount of time
I think I'll start my minimum price at 60k as I have an offer (though not complete) of that amount. As for a maximum time period, there is none. This is more of an advertisement of the town rather than an auction where the highest bid goes defaultly to the highest bidder. Once I see an agreeable price for both sides, I will take it.
