Accepting offers on Station22, a 2nd Row Shop in the Yellow Market! Not looking for a specific price. When I see a price I like, I'll sell. Note that I bought the shop for $1.15 million ECD here. Over the short time I've had this shop I've already made close on 400k in pure profit. You're more than welcome to submit offers in any way you'd like. Feel free to pm me in-game, /mail me, forum pm me, or contact me in any way you see fit.
Good question. There are two main reasons why I'm selling it. The first is that I'd like to own a front row shop and attempt to liven up the market place. The 2nd being that I don't want another inactive player to have a front row shop. Due to both of these reasons I'm looking to sell my current shop in hopes to win the auction for Station66, a front row shop (link below). https://www.ecocitycraft.com/forum/...uction-shop-66-1-000-000-starting-bid.149943/
Why are you even selling it then? That doesn't make sense.. I'm sure it was a lot less work than mining several hours a day for 200k/week.
He wants to buy @usernameofdeath's first row shop, which is currently on auction in the classifieds/ads section.
a1, I will gladly buy this shop for exactly what you paid for it if you will just show me how to be able to make 400k in pure profit in less than two weeks. In addition, I am willing to pay you a 10% fee every two weeks that I make 400k!
He's advertised *a lot*. 400k seems a bit much but it's absolutely possible with his level of advertising.
Thanks for the information Tom. username has stated he only made about 20 million in close to about 5 years of ownership and a1 is on track to earn that in about 6 months. I don't really think he wants to move to a "loser" shop.
Allow me to explain it to you in the simplest way possible. Profit is defined as "a financial gain, especially the difference between the amount earned and the amount spent in buying, operating, or producing something." Now with that being said, I'll take a quote from my shop's word document showing my sales. Each of these calculated values is for the profit I made, not counting server value. Let's recall the definition of profit again. "...the difference between the amount earned and the amount spent in buying..." For example, I only make $20 per NStar sold because I sell for $20 more than I buy them for. If you have any further questions you're more than welcome to ask
Thanks for your offer! The key is having lots of stock, and advertising whenever you're on. Quartz is my major money maker, as shown a few posts above in a quote so keep lots of it stocked and constantly advertise that you're selling it.
Thanks for the chart! How much do you pay for quartz blocks? How much are you selling them for? The average markup I have seen on the server is about 4 per block. That would equal about 136k. You seem to be able to beat that by about twice! Also, since you have only been open for less than two weeks, do you expect to be able to sustain 200k per week or more every week?
I mine about 95% of the quartz I obtain (quartz mining and fortuning is pretty much all I do nowadays ). I sell for $11 and server price is $4, which is where I got that number from. To answer your second question, yes I'd like to assume that with current trends I would be able to sustain 200k+ per week.
Thanks for your patronizing approach at defending what is clearly misleading. You've included in your calculations the profit gained from mining for your stock as well as the profit gained from the markup you receive from being able to sell through a 2nd row spawn shop. A more accurately calculation would deduct, at minimum, the server value of each item. In a more ideal scenario, for items such as quartz blocks, you would use a value that those blocks can commonly be obtained at wholesale (around $8 per block from my experience). Anyone can open up a spawnshop, mine for 4 hours a day, sell what they have mined through their shop and claim their shop makes $200k per week. In reality, they could sell the same items they've obtained through mining to the server or to other spawnshops for maybe $150k. Therefore the true profit they've obtained through having access to the spawnshop is $50k per week. Although I do commend your ability to selectively quote the definition of what profit is: EDIT: From my own experience of running a 2nd row spawnshop, in case anyone is interested. I currently make around $35k per week in profit from simply buying in bulk and re-selling in my shop. This is with me hoping online for 20 minutes everyday to ensure signs remain in stock and hitting up trade chat looking to buy stuff in bulk as I run out. I've also yet to complete the second row of my spawnshop.
