I'm looking to do a marketplace profit study, but rather than just report my own shop's profits, I'd like to give examples from shops in other size plots and even on the other colour rows! To participate you must: 1. rent or be renting a shop in the marketplace! 2. be willing to rent for up to 3 months for the duration of the study! 3. provide daily, or at least weekly, profit totals (how much was earned that day/week) 4. advise me of what the popular items were for that week (what sold the most, like food, ores, blocks, etc) Simply reply with the following information to be added to the study! IGN: Station #: Market Colour: I'll be looking for at least 4 people per colour in order to ensure the most balanced information available!
Red Market: Row 1-3: KMaxwell Row 4-6: Row 7-9: stoler202 Row 10-12: Blue Market: Row 1-3: Row 4-6: Row 7-9: Row 10-12: Green Market: Row 1-3: Row 4-6: Row 7-9: Row 10-12: Yellow Market: Row 1-3: Row 4-6: Row 7-9: Row 10-12:
Kmax, I think this is a really neat idea and I hope that you find good results. I was wondering, will you be sharing the results?
I also agree this is a great idea and I also hope you will be sharing the results. I will be watching this to see when the 3 months will start and if I would be able to make the commitment you are requesting.
Yes, I intend to be sharing the results, on a daily or weekly basis based on the updates from the participating shops. Similar to the last time I did 3 months of profit reporting, only this time on a larger scale. It'll likely start on the 1st of the month following my getting at least 4 participants (ideally one from each colour). Row 7, Red. Added. Let me know if you change your mind.
01/03/15: Sold 320 Dirt. Made $40 That is it Also, i might update this: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1gCSfJ4TqGjoErd-Rb5-QOcOtgjJQsBAmXEPhH23z9d8/edit?usp=sharing
Go with the spreadsheet... though we haven't actually started yet, since I don't have 4 people participating.
Ok, so you will just check it , right? And btw, all the profits are with little to zero advertising. So this might be a good input for profits.
