To all, Although still in its planning stages at the moment, the town of Reznor will soon (most likely in June) open its gates to the public on ECC. Reznor, a town specifically developed around the theme of hidden secrets and smarts will certainly both serve to frustrate, awe-inspire, and reward those willing to uncover its hidden treasures among which will hold a seemingly elusive 100k prize. The first challenge that you will be presented with upon entrance into the Reznor spawn will be determining the solution to a riddle which can be found in the answers to multiple posted questions (consequently you may want to read the town rules) as they will enable you to unlock the hallowed gates that guard Reznor. Reznor will also include a private sector for the elite and cunning (either residing due to intelligence or wealth) called the "Legacy Grounds" and a secretive clan, which you may need to become apart of in order to find the 100k called "the Legion of Skulls". And just when you think that you won the 100k and that is all (that is indeed if you ever manage to find the answer...) you will be left wondering -Have I truly found everything, or is there something that I missed along the way... Greetings, I am interested to see what sort of complicated puzzles you will come up with in Reznor. Knowing what sort of knowledge you have, based on your three trivia questions earlier today, it will take a very intelligent user to unlock the puzzle of your town. I will be sure to read the town rules before attempting to solve any riddle, for the answers may reside within a message that has been hidden "between the lines" of those text(s). I am inspired by your idea, and hope to someday become a part of the secretive clan I presume is saved only for the most quick-witted of EcoCityCraft members. I do have one question, however. You state that the town will open in June, eight months from now. What sort of elaborate schemes will you plan with such a surplus of time? With respect, PULLH20
PULLH20, Well, the reasoning for the town opening in June (8 months from the date of this message) is on account of the intended complexity of design for the town (the architecture will be amazingly advanced, with shapes only imaginable in Calculus), secret placement of puzzles, placement of mini games, and creation of other additional features which have never before been present in a town on ECC will also contribute to the duration of time that will pass before the opening of Reznor. --Zanide
First of all, thank you for answering my question! This town is beginning to intrigue me more and more with each passing moment of time, especially the mystery surrounding all parts of it. I greatly look forward to seeing what this is all about. PULLH20
Since I am currently seeking summer internships in computer science at Google, IBM, Apple, Adobe, and Athena Health and a research project to conduct at Microsoft during the upcoming year, I have to regrettably abandon the construction of Reznor. As for the current moment, I also am committing to 40+ hrs of work per week on a project in software engineering using the Git CVS, the Java programming language, the Eclipse Kepler IDE, scripting languages such as Python and Javascript, server and client paradigms, GUIs, and constant collaboration with an excellent team of my peers. And to add to this, I am also participating in two other projects that require around 20+ hrs each per week. I apologize to all who were interested in my idea, as you will probably not be seeing me again for quite some time.
