I have (finally) finished. It is a HUGE weight off of me to finally have this project completed. (Picture is from design I copied, not possible to get all 300 blocks loaded into ECC for actual pics) The SHIELD Helicarrier, from the movie "The Avengers". 300 long, 140 wide, 70 tall. Floating over FarEastCaster (yes, neighboring the @jmichael214 'casters) and Summervale (@Samiwarbler), this project has taken me 2.5 months to reconstruct (with permission) from the existing design by VISR3 (as shown on PlanetMinecraft). I am in no way presenting this as my design, just that I built it. VISR3 gets all the credit for designing it. There are 9 decks (floors) on the inside. The Use Flags in both towns have been changed to allow anyone to use the doors, gates, and other mechanisms. For those that can not fly, there is a transport plane on the ground with a lift sign inside to take you up. Do NOT fall off the Helicarrier without fly! You will die, and I am not "giving your stuff back" if you can't find it yourself. There are rooms inside, including the kitchen, hospital, library, data core, Hulk containment area (yes, the floor opens. Like I said before, don't fall if you don't have fly enabled), Command Center, Arc Reactor power rooms, armories... just about everything you've seen in the movie Yes, people get lost. Some have been lost while there was only 1 deck (9 total now) Directions: Spawn Portal Lancaster (Towns5, Redstone, Stone) or "/warp Lancaster", then head South 200 blocks (Southcaster), then East for 400 blocks (Summerdale). Spawn Portal Lilydale (Towns5, Coal, Redstone) or "/warp Lilydale", walk 200 blocks East to Summerdale. If you arrive in Summerdale... and for some reason can't SEE the ship over your head, you'll probably need a larger render distance Lift is inside the plane on the ground underneath the front of the Helicarrier, near Sami's Foundry and the PvP Arena. Come visit, play Hide-n-Seek, press the buttons, peer over the edge for the view, fly around (and through), and have fun. The chests are all empty (you can look if you want *shrugs), the lava is hot, the black sheep have "shear burn", and I'm not making another one... no matter how much you are willing to pay *dies from exhaustion* Griefers will be flayed and nailed to the front, like a Firefly Reaper victim, as a warning to all others!
...wouldn't this have fit better in the Aether? That world is meant for large builds like this... plus, it would have actually had room to fly around out there.
Then the only people that could play in it would be people with Aether access. Since it's in Rising, everyone can play
Oh my god... I can finally pretend to be ironman pushing the dang blades of the carrier... My life is complete.
