I can see were your coming from here, but dead topics do serve a purpose. If people search for something and there’s already a topic about it they might not clutter the forums with another. So I don’t think they should be deleted. About locking I certainly think they should be locked if there necro for no good reason. But threads like the aether reset that was (kind of) dead need to be left open because people can and do still want to offer there input about the still undecided fate of the aether.
