Section V, Clause II has actually had quite a few minor revisions as of late, mostly clarification of things we do not allow at all, so it is a good idea to reread this entire rule regardless so you're up to date. Today however, I was asked to amend the swearing part of the rule, which has lead to the following change being made, highlighted with red: OMG what's this mean?! This means we would now like users to keep swearing to an absolute minimum, and would seriously prefer if they didn't swear at all, even if not directed at anyone. Please be courteous when choosing your words and remember that the server caters to many age groups, nationalities and cultures.
Keep in mind, other users might be in your local vicinity; and may take offense to your playful swearing. My best suggestion is to use a non-ecc related program to swear, and goof around your friends, to prevent someone possibly getting upset, even if you didn't mean to direct it to them.
Absolutely needed. The language has become overly excessive to the point I stopped letting my daughter play. +1 Great Idea Andrewkm!
