we were griefed about $4000 of stuff but server refuses to rollback because it has to be over $7500 that is stupid we lost so much and they told us no. the rule is stupid no one could grief $7500 realistically it is stupid.
Well, i cant interfere with this set of rules, thats for supers and andrew to deal with, but my town was griefed for more than $80,000 and the server crashed, somehow losing the rollback logs, and subsequently almost my entire town quit. Once the two or three remaining people from a used to be full town quit, i will reset the town and try again.
Mardigan_the_mad said no rollback then camcliff made a request for rollback so i don't think there is a set amount and that is really needed. EDIT: checked app rules and rollbacks are supposed to be 7.5k but mods dont seem to follow and 7.5k seems a little large no many griefs are over 7.5k unless someone stores diamonds blocks everywhere
As a rule of thumb we Usually only Roll back a users actions if the damage was $7500 and over. Although in special circumstances we can request one anyway. For example, the grief could be widespread and hard to tell where it exactly starts and ends.
From what I remember, it would be a rollback for either $7500 or wide-spread, mass grief (i.e., grief on every house by the same person or two, but it is all on dirt/wood/etc.) And I don't know if it was ever stated for the SMs, but I believe it would be for $7500 with /sell. More or less, I think $7500 is a rough estimate. I'd say if the grief was more than $7500 with /sell and you didn't get rolledback when you requested it, make another grief report stating so. o-o
I got the rollback in the end in very strange cicumstances as one supermod told me no rollback and then I got one from a different supermod.
