The mining and nether needs to be reset badly. I have been mining for 30+ minutes and all I have found is 4 pieces of iron. The nether and mining NEEDS to be reset.
Granted the mining world is looking rather 'mined' at the moment, but I can still find untouched areas with relative ease. Type '/wild land' in the chat and may help in finding better areas to mine in.
Mine somewhere else. The mining world and nether will reset when it is really necessary to do so. and trust me, there is alot of untouched places in the mainworld you could mine in as well.
