    Are Reserves aloud in auctions? I just want to know because I try to make profit and sometimes I loose money, are reserves in auctions aloud?

    Problem is most people know the price of an item, so they won't start there.

    Than dont respond to their bid. Pretend it was just another comment and keep advertising it till' someone bids on it. (Dont spam it :p)

    Auctions lose money in exchange for a quick sale. Unless the item is really popular, its a buyer's advantage.

    No, reserves are not aloud. But you may do what vdub has suggested or simply sell the item in trade channel, auctioning a channel is a risk; sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.
