Minecraft Name: Minecraftninja05 Suggestion: Add a command thatt has a chest pop up on your screen, similar to /wb for a crafting table, and /eec for an echest. You would put items in it like a disposal sign, but it would repair any items you put in it. It would not be a full chest, it would be 1 line (9 spots/spaces) with a cooldown. Reason: After hearing of all he start oops getting butchered or w/e, this seems like a good alternative. Any Other Information: No Link To This Plugin/Is this a custom addition?: No
Would this be for commands+ players? Would they be able to open the interface for other players? Not sure exactly how this is supposed to work with the way things are currently set up.
W/e is prefered Id assume ++, but w/e is preferred. I don't see how it couldn't work, considering smelt works fine.
I'm not sure I follow. Are you suggesting ExtCommands+ and ++ users have the ability to place a chest that will auto repair items? If not, how would users give items to the people with the ExtCommands feature? If you could clarify please. Why not just place a chest? It recommends this practice.
Why not just use a furnace to smelt ores? People are lazy. Maybe + users could use it, and ++ would get an extra line of room, not sure yet
I still don't understand what you are suggesting. Erepairs right now works just like /smelt, if you would place all the items that you want repaired in a chest, they could be done all at once. Are you suggesting that the erepair person could have a command like "/repair chest [username]" where it would bring up a box (like /eec does) for the other players to place their items in to get repaired? If this is not what you are suggesting, please specify the steps on how this would work. Thank you
Some what, yes. This wouldn't be for personal use, as it would be slower to place all the items in the chest and use the command, it would be for repairing other items for users.
If this is not possible, I'm sure people could place chests, but people rarely have chest on them, I'm hoping this or something similar could work, would hopefully prevent lost star tools. I've personally done thousands of repairs on star tools where people drop them never to encounter a butchered tool, but I know it happens
You can't just have it instantly bring up an interface - imagine the trolling possibility... I mean I think I understand what you're trying to explain but I don't see a reason to custom code a complicated solution when placing chests works.
If anything, just as a short cut maybe just give ExtCommands+ or ++ the ability to have something like "/chest" where it supplies them with 2 chests. Have it so they can use the command every 30 minutes or something.
I give lots of repairs at farms, you'd have to give the user a chest every time, as u couldn't place anything
There also is a plugin I've seen on another server, where if you crouch and hit another player, it requests a trade, if both do it, it sets up a little box on either side, enough room for many slots, where you could place the tools in and trade them to the repairer, he repairs them, and trades them back. Would be useful to limit scams as well as avoids butcher
Just use chests. Not going to code something new to make someone's time easier even though there is existing solutions
