Update:Looks like it is just any enchanted tools that aren't damaged. Not sure though. Update again: Potions do it too. Update another time:When i was mining with a tool that had done this glitch, my screen went black all of a sudden.
When I'm in my inventory and I pickup anything with a glowing aura(eTools/potions) the sky will turn a light purple-ish color until I place it back in the inventory or drop it. This only happens in the inventory screen... When holding the items its fine. I think it has something to do with the 1.7.2 version as my 1.6.4 doesn't do this.
First, make sure you're using the latest 1.7.2 version of optifine. If you already are, then update to 1.7.4 and use the optifine for that. If you're not, try and update to the latest version of 1.7.2 optifine. If that doesn't work.. update to 1.7.4
Okay I am actually just leaving now so I won't be able to do this until either late tonight or sometime tomorrow... I know there's a 1.7.2 update I didn't get yet, so I'll update 1.7.2 and let you know if that fixed it.
