basicly as it states there useless as you can make a team and just share wins total stupidity if anything should be battle of the fittest not who can bring the most friends to a arena. this is a ecconomy server last i saw not a HG SG server it has pvp in nether and mining world perfect well not mining any more witch was stupid to remove as now anyone can farm xp with out a care in the world rember the days you where on toes incase someone came and found you farming and killed you now thats fun and exciting so yeah i think remove all non economy things from the server and go back to the ecc roots it once was
Just because you do not enjoy this, it does not mean that other people do not. There is really nothing too different from how the server used to be other than the fact that Hunger Games was added as something to do on the side. The economy is still up and running just fine, and user to user interactions are still kicking. If you are not interested in participating in the HG, then don't. The change with the mining world is an understandably touchy subject, as many of the older users, and some newer residents/mayors, preferred the the old mining world. Andrew implemented this as a solution to the destruction of the main world, and for whatever other reasons that I am unaware of. He had a poll to see if pvp should be enabled and he based his decision off of that, so If you want to get angry, don't blame Andrew as he just went with the majority vote. If exp was your money maker before, then I feel your pain as that was how I made my money. Instead of selling the exp, just enchant items and sell them that way. You can easily make 10x's the profit of exp now by selling an Eff 5 Silk Touch 1 Axe/Pickaxe. So all in all, just calm down and work around the newer features.
I've spent a lot of time playing Hunger Games since a few months ago... (not on ECC obviously.) I've learned many things, but for this topic: Teams do not always win. It's just a matter of overcoming these teams. I learned that through lots of practice - I've fought teams consisting of 4 people, all about as strong as Brotherhood members were back in the day... (not sure how they are now.) and I actually almost won - I took down 2, almost 3 of them no sweat, they all had more gear than me...and this was about 2 months ago when I still wasn't great. It's entirely possible, and sadly, it's just a part of the game that you'll have to deal with if you want to play.
