    Suggestion:

To making Enchanted Repairs (EREP) easier to do for other people, I would like a command around the lines of /Repair (Username) All. I recommend to put it under EXT++ and giving it more use.

    Reason:

To make it easier for people to help the community out if they want to with EREP's. Things this would allow regular EREPs from having to/avoid A: Item being stolen B: Having to bring a chest along C: Having to tp to a person. It also allows for ease of access to EREP's if other people are willing.

    Any Other Information:

Since people already do it for other people, in theory if all people with EREP were actively giving EREP's or even if some were then other part of the community would not need to. Maybe if you make it against the rules to have it on a macro that is linked to a phrase said in chat (Pretty easy to prove just say the phrase a few times to see if it procs). Also is an idea to put it under Staff powers since for the most part they do it for free anyway and would just be more convinent for them to have it. Another idea is to have a message pop up saying another player did it and offer an easy way to tip them via a click to fill in a tip section

P.S. EDIT: Perhaps a cooldown of 5-10 Minutes so it cant be spammed

I feel like this would be very convenient for both the person with ext commands ++ and the person receiving the repair. +1 :D

This would be convenient, but probably not worth the time that it would take them to do this.

    Why?
Staff members only have the e-repair feature if they have bought it, so why should they be able to use a /repair username command?

The staff idea is so that it would be less likely to be potentially abused. Also saves a few seconds for the staff member to be doing other things. Just putting the idea out their in the end.

Items with /own cannot be stolen.

I personally find it part of doing ereps. Having to tp to someone adds extra difficulty to doing ereps. Sure, you've got extcommands+, but if you don't have TP (why would you even), stick to repairing your own tools. Chests by the way, are optional security precautions.

And what if the macro user has a confirm key? A passphrase for his erep customers?

Finally I find this a bit too easy, having someone do ereps for you with just 1 command. Sure, it may be safer, but I like the aspect of tping to someone, looking around where they are (you can find nice towns like this), having some interaction.

    hahahahahahaha no
They always can be stolen but instead, the tool can be tracked down.

Though I like this idea but maybe make something like radius limited? If possible to implement.

Thats kind of what I meant. Sure it can be stolen, but soon it will be tracked down and you will be banned. Not worth a tool.

staff aren't given ereps as a staff power, why should they be given this? imo doing this obligates staff to do ereps, which shouldn't be done.

This could be abused very badly. Someone with ExtCommands++ could simply set up a macro that repairs everyone's tools every 5 minutes. Then, most people wouldn't see the need in purchasing the feature for themselves. Unfortunately I'm going to have to -1 this. It would defeat the purpose in purchasing the feature.

The only way to prevent this is to put it on a long cooldown, but then I don't see the point of having remote erep in the first place.

I think this is a good idea if it's on a long cooldown, limited to one person at a time, and if with this we can get rid of /own.

I don't know what to think of this suggestion, whether +1 or -1, really. I've seen good arguments on both sides. But I greatly appreciate the attempt, this is the kind of creative thinking we need to shake things up

Tempting, but this is something that would require quite extensive development to create.
Sadly, it's not critical enough to dedicate time to.
