Refunds should be implemented. I have screen shots of a person offering donations for ECC. I was tipped off that he was another account, from someone claiming to be his brother. Joliver banned them as he made a grand exit. I"d like to get my money back. It's going to make the p2p donation thing impossible to deal with if people are going to get away with it and innocent patrons are going to get screwed.
The problem here is there is a lot of scamming. It would be a pain to refund everyone who is scammed. Plus a lot of the time the scammers spend the money they scam so we can’t just take a refund out of there account. To refund people we would have to add money to the economy, which is bad for a number of reasons. That being said I would love to see refunds for people who can provide evidence they were scammed. (Just don’t expect it to ever happen.)
Won't happen, many people are getting scammed every day, sometimes large and sometimes small. If we had to refund everyone we would be putting back more money into the economy. Just make sure you trust the person you trade/buy features from completely.
It'd be extremely easy to abuse refunds if they were available. User A, User B, and User C are all friends. User A scams User B of his money and sends it to User C. User A gets banned and User B refunded. User C then gives User B the money User A gave him. Congratulations, you duped money! On top of that, users who get unbanned would still have the money and it will cause inflation in the economy.
