Everytime I come online, a row of reed in my farm is gone, I hired an investigator and he said that nobody harvested the reed, so basicly its dissapearing by itself. Please help me, craft4000
Of course, make sure the reeds are adjacent with some piece of water. Although you hired an investigator, it may be a possible that he/she is giving you false information regarding the missing Sugar Cane. What I suggest is you submit a Grief report in the appropriate section, and get a Super-Moderator+ to deal with the missing Reeds. Also you must keep in mind that the Block breaking / placing logs are cleared regularly, so someone could be Griefing you, and you're not logging the broken blocks in time prior to the clearing of the logs. Nothing simply disappears like this on Ecocitycraft. Again, I suggest you submit a Grief report in the appropriate section. If the 'disappearing' sugar cane is in a town. Even though what jets said is legit, this is likely a bug that's been around for over a year. Whole rows of reeds pop out magically, I haven't figured out what exactly is causing it. This bug has been around ever since we switched to cb++, and it has persisted till this day. md_5 Is it possible that this is caused by aggregate ticks? Or growth chunk per tick, or anything else in spigot?
If I'm not mistaken its actually caused by vanilla and accentuated by async chunk loading, something present in Bukkit too. 10 bucks says this row of cane is on a chunk border.
It's always a chunk border, yes. From what I can tell it loads the chunk with the reeds in, but the water besides it doesn't and the reed pops out, correct?
