Recently, I have found little of the mention of ore in the mining world, and most of it has been taken. would it be possible to just upload a new world?

The mining world will reset about every month or so.

Personally I think that the admins of ECC should back off of resetting the mining world. Recently the maps have been getting reset approximately every 3 weeks. I could be wrong, but I believe that this is leading to decreased prices on pretty much everything as the market is super-saturated with ores and materials.

Well the problem is, that there is no way to reach the outskirts of the mining world, where things are completely untouched.

To be pretty blunt here.... I don't go to the mining world anymore. It amazes me that the world is reset, and 2 weeks later all the ore is gone, and when descending down to near bedrock you find all these shafts running off here and there and they end abruptly with a small section mined out. In all my time playing MC here and on other servers and on single play survival I have never been lucky enough to mine straight to ore in what appears to be almost every occasion. Yes I take into account there are a few hundred people playing, but how many of them go not the mining world. Then of those that do, how many mine or just go for pvp. So we move the numbers down and we now have about maybe 50 people that do. So on a large scale, how "lucky" are these people to hit ore on almost every shaft. Last time I went I found a huge amount of coal, and a small amount of iron and that was it. How does the coal get missed yet all the good ore taken?

I had to sound mean, but maybe you just don't know what you're doing. I go to the mining world very frequently, probably everyday, and I have no problems at all finding stuff. The mining world in not just targeted for ores. There is sand to be had, trees/seeds to aquire, dirt, mobs, and etc.

    Tips:

    • Gold: only found near lava. Lava can be anywhere in the map BUT has higher concentrations at the bottom/near bedrock.
    • Diamonds: only found in the bottom 15 layers of the map.
    • Redstone: only found within 10 layers of bedrock, essentially the bottom 16 layers of the map.
    • Emeralds: only found in: Extreme Hills, Extreme Hills Edge, and River biomes.
    • Witch Huts: only found in swampland biomes.
    • Desert: passive mobs do not spawn here.
