My brother and I (48zombiekiller=my bro) are following rapid ore decay. We are both making charcoal and using coal from the kit startere only, but my brother doesn't get the point.......HE IS USING COAL TO COOK THE CHARCOAL!!!!!!WTF!!!
The Rapid Ore Decay is not a rip-off. What they do is this: Smelt wood with wood to get charcoal. Charcoal is exactly like coal, just worth $.40. They exchange 2 charcoal ($.80) for 1 coal ($1). Aside from value, that is one coal for two coal. They divide the $.20 profit between all the leaders. (Very little profit) They save ores. In no way is this a rip-off. If you do not know how to make charcoal efficiently, you don't have to accuse one of the biggest organizations on the server of being a rip-off.
im not saying the idea is a rip off just that it is a rip off that my brother is using coal to make the charcoal when i use wooden planks to make mine. :x
Of course you do, Netsui. you can afford it. Myself, I use coal because i usually have such a large amount that its cheaper than wood to me.
Blaze rod=Weak Uranium and Coal=Gas in my mind :/ I personally think Rapid Ore Decay isn`t reasonable because each day you get 10 coal FREE and notice how in looted caves people ALWAYS leave most the coal behind so I really don`t see a purpose in Rapid Ore Decay... Also... if you have a nether spawner... (inside the mind of a survivor, warrior, or terminator...) Who needs coal I can just use blaze rods! ALSO another point is that if you have seen Some Interesting Numbers Regarding ECC on the forum you will see that we have YEARS WORTH OF COAL...... :/ No offence R.O.D people but I just don`t see a reason to do it... just mine coal, get blaze rods, or get lava.
Also our coal reserves on ECC won`t run out until a VERY LONG TIME :/ Also if you see here we have a TON of coal so we don`t really have to worry about our coal consumption. If anything the world will be made larger. http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/File: ... Height.png
Currently, in official F.A.R.O.D. factories, we only use blaze rods to produce charcoal. The coal I gain is stored in my personal storage. My foundation exists for one basic reason. To add creative variety to the server. It's fun for me and it encourages many users to work for a cause on ECC.
