Minecraft Name: PurpleSweetTart Suggestion: I think we should make rankings by who has the most EcoDollars (gross or at a current time like monthly.) Reason: I noticed we have a list of top voters and lottery ranking but we do not have ranks of people by income. I strongly believe that being an economy server, we should have these rankings. It will have the benefits of encouraging new players to want to get to the top - I know I want to (I am very competitive) and it will also encourage new players to talk to the top money makers about strategy and good ways to make money besides a cray lotto. It will give new players something to shoot for and veteran players something to be proud of (and maybe brag about a little as long as it doesn't get out of control.) Depending on how you want to implement it (monthly, etc.) you can offer a small reward to the top winners. Other Information: I think it would be easiest to have the rankings on the forums, that way,you wouldn't have to use plugins, or maybe you could, I just don't know a lot about plugins. Although the idea may seem quite interesting, it won't happen and here's why; For the most part we value people's privacy - People's balances should remain private unless the said player specifically wants it otherwise. Not to mention, many players try to hide that they're rich and don't want people begging them for money every second of their time on ECC. Another reason is having /baltop public is that it opens doors to a wide range of abuse. When spawn towns were auctioned, players wouldve been able to see other peoples bal if this was implemented at the time, knowing how much someone could bid along other possible cases of abuse.
