Suggestion: I think that ranks should cost more.

Reason: the ranks mayor and president mean nothing now. There are way to many mayors and presidents. These ranks are wat to easy to get. Most people don't even work hard to get them, they just donate 30$ for other users in exchange for money and boom.. You have prez. It is also crashing the real estate market because people are buying residents mayor for there town at the cost of 85k.. Towns used to be worth 80k and now there worth about 30k. This is bad because we have a huge number of mayors who didnt do squat for the rank. I my self see mayors and residents as the same rank. There is also to many presidents who donated or won lotto once and got it easy.

These ranks are also easily obtainable by farming for a few hours.

The ecc community is being flooded with new mayors and presidents every day and this should stop.

My suggestion is to raise the cost of mayor to 150k and president to 320k.

Life isn't fair. A long time ago I could auto farm 60k of wheat with one flick of a switch. Pumpkins used to be $2. And ect.. Lots of people could get mayor in a few hours back in the day. I don't see how this would be any different.

 

How is money getting harder to make? I can still make 18k an hour farming. That means that u can make 90k in 5 hours and buy mayor. Sure it's a bit slower than it used to be but 18k an hour is t half bad. Making 18k an hour you could go from resident to president in just 15 hours

 

Yes they can. I make 18k an hour with my melon sword. But you can easily make 16-17k an hour pumpkin farming

 

I want to touch on a few points you made. But first, thank you for this very well thought out and organized feed back. I appreciate it.

The first topic you brought up is the one about how much money you can make using a pumpkin axe as I did forget that it is much slower without fly. That being said I just tested it with out fly and make 12k in an hour, sprinting the entire time and eating when ever necessary. This is still a huge amount of money if you work hard and for a long time.

The second thing I want to talk about is the part about all the new players coming into the economy and there for making more money and products that go into the economy. This is also true, however it doesnt justify the amount of begging that occurs on ecc. I myself find it extremely hard to give mayors the respect they deserve when I can't tell from there tag if they got mayor the legit way by farming or mining ect.. Or just had some other wealthy player buy it for them for there town.
This in my opinion is something that wealthy players created that backfired on the economy. There are constantly wealthy players who want more land and don't want to pay high prices and there are always lazy people whodont want to ear. 85k by themselves who are begging to get mayor for there town.
What this means is there is a massive amount of real estate in the economy and a massive amount of mayors, both of which crash the real estate market in different ways. The first is the amount of real estate out there that no1 wants anymore making the price of towns go down dramatically. The second is the amount of mayors out there who think there to cool for school because of there tag and don't buy plots in towns.
When ever I do /list in game I look at how many of each rank there are and a small part of me dies because there are about 30 presidents, 3 tycoons, 1 ecoleader, 60 mayors, 45 residents and 10 builders. I my self havnt sold a plot in a few months.

I understand there are some people who have been resident for a year or even builders, who just take a long time to figure out the economy and how to make money here on ecc. These are the people who keep the real estate market going, these are the people we want more of. Because often builders and residents are the people who buy plots. I have people in my town who have been on ecc for almost as long as I have, living in my town and who have never ranked up.

What I'm saying is that with the huge amount of land, and the huge amount of people who don't want to buy plots, your lucky if you sell 5 plots in a week.

 

In my opinion, ranks are for people who work hard to get them. Not people who beg.

And your telling me that for almost a year you have been constantly farming? I just can't believe you. Because if you had you would be an ecoleader by now.

 

Ok first off, please stop raging.

So I realize that not everyone is as well off as me. Now lets ask our selves, why is that? Why is he so much richer than me?
Ill tell you. One reason is because irl I happen to be somewhat well off and can afford to spend a fair amount of money on donation features. Another reason is because Im good with money and know how to make it fast. Another reason is because I WORK MY ASS OFF FARMING ALL DAY. please realize that farming for hour apon hour is not a walk in the park. However this is the only legit way of making actual money in ecc and I know it

Now my advise to you is to stop wasting your time posting rage messages about how little money you have and get farming.

Do not post another rage message on my thread please as I don't want it to become a flame thread.

 

With out any donation features I am still capable of making 12k an hour farming. If a resident worked for a month working lets say 4 hours a day the given user would have $1,440,000... Which is enough to buy ecoleader if they desired. I think that some people idea of "hard work" is different from mine. But honestly that's just other people's problem. Making money isn't easy to do.
