What happens when someone breaks some of the obsidian outline of a portal? Does the portal still work or does the water go away? If anyone can answer please post in the comments below. Thanks P.S. If your wondering why I am asking it's because I am curious. -chargers2417
I'm sure if you broke it by accident andrew or another staff member would replace it, if you did it on purpose I am not sure
i believe it gives you an error message from the stargate plugin with something like, lack of permissions. its safe to try though as i am fairly ceratin this is the case.
You should not be able to destroy your portals, but if you manage to do it somehow, it'll stop working.
I would hope that its all protected. It probably is, or we would have seen in the past more grief reports regarding a broken town portal. I still wouldn't try it though. RagMan
Unless you are hacking you cannot break portals as you dont have the stargate.portal.destroy permission
Even hacking it would be a tough job, it would involve changing his/her own permissions... And if they went to the effort to do that, they wouldn't just give themselves stargate.portal.destroy
