People have already asked this just search the forums, no one really knows, except perhaps for staff. Just wait till andrewkm decides to tell us.
Can you lock donkey chests? Can others ride your horse? Can you buy name tags and horse armor? Will leads be able to be stolen?
True, if I had a donkey with a chest, even If i could lock it, they could kill it and take the contents, builders could murder peoples horses and get banned with no loss... We need a protection system on our lovely animals
Suppose you keep your horse behind a locked door. could someone come in and take your horse similar to the locked door-bed bug?
Based on the fact that we cannot technically own horses, I'm probably not going to waste the time with them.
..this is more a question for any devs or code-/programming-savvy people: Can individual horse stats be modified? I'd like to know so I can figure out if I can make a suggestion I have in mind. With breeding disabled, horses lose a giant chunk of their purpose: Breeding for better stats (health, speed, and jump height--as well as colors and markings). I understand it, though. Also, can... Saddles be locked? I am sure chests can be locked with some fiddling around, but I am wondering about saddles (for owning a horse type of deal). As well, do the mules even SPAWN from the eggs? Last I knew, you had to breed a donkey and a horse to get one; that is after using hundreds of horse eggs in singleplayer, though.
