ok so if you cant do whole town lwc removals wtf can i do lol? make a million small lwc removals? every one that is active cleared there stuff.
If everyone in your town is inactive, doing a worldedit would be the fastest way to clear everything. Otherwise, do small amounts of LWC removals of the areas you need cleared the most, wait a day or two, then make another bunch to get removed.
The easiest way is to worldedit, but everything is gone along with the locked items. I spent a good while doing many LWC removal applications a couple weeks ago. They seem hard to do, but they aren't even in high quantities. Just bite the bullet and go for it. You won't regret the treasure hunting you will do after getting all of them unlocked. I just recommend blocking all chests from being able to open without removing the obstruction block above them before getting the locks removed. Who knows how much time will pass between the Supermods unlocking them and you logging in and getting out there. People without permissions in a town can STILL open chests.
ok i guess ill have to do a ton of small ones thought it would be way easier to do it at 1 shot and i did a world edit this is just what is left in the ground
