[Question] Chatting

As far as is know this doesnt exist, at the moment.

Usually that works, but if it doesn't, open notepad, in notepad type "cactuschat.exe" without the quotes, save the file as cactuschat.bat in the same folder as cactuschat.exe
Doubleclick the cactuschat.bat file

 

my antivirus program picked it up as a virus and deleted it,,,, GOD DAMN IT.

 

You have a very stupid antivirus then, it can't even detect whether it was downloaded or created by yourself. :|

Good old Avast does the job for me.

EDIT: Avast didn't like it, it probably just doesn't like cacti in general. But Avast gave me an option to carry on

I tried it and it works fine but I can't talk. I can just see what other people say. Is there any way to talk or is it just a viewing application?

Interesting. Because I just tried it again and went on a server on one account and went onto cactuschat on another and when I typed in cactus chat and pressed enter the chat did not show up on the server.

 

Odd, what operating system do you use?

 

I use windows 7, but I guess it was a server issue because I found that it worked on about half of the servers on my server list and didn't work on others. Thanks for the help and I really like the application.
