I was wondering what it means by "New Owner" in the town application. Would this mean if I was buying a player mayor in exchange for their town and they put me as the owner, I would become an official owner, or is it only if you do a town transfer? Official Owner: The player who currently owns the town as stated in the town application. This is either the original applicant or the player listed as "New Owner" in the town application. Only the official owner is able to file town feature applications. Thanks, Travellord
Basically the thread will be titled- NEW OWNER: SuburbSomeone (Labyrinth) and the rest of the application will stay the same. You'd need a town transfer if you bought that player Mayor.
We only edit the thread titles when "Official" transfers have happened (town transfer app or town claim app).
Ok, so if you just create a contract (not town transfer) you will just become legal owner, and if you want official ownership you must complete a town transfer app.
