First of all, I am sorry if this is in the wrong section. Second of all, I was wondering about this. (from the shop page) Now, if someone bought donations with ecd, I would think that would not count as a payment method that is not said persons their own. Thank you in advance for any replies. Also sorry if this si not allowed to be talked about. Hoping I have not broken the law, - @legotom001
When you pay with ECD you're not the person buying the feature. The person you're paying is the one buying the feature. What that paragraph implies is that you're not allowed to use somebody else's money. For example, stealing a creditcard from your parents to pay.
That simply means you can't use a stolen or otherwise illegally gained payment info. It has nothing to do with buying donations with ECD - as you aren't using a payment method in the shop.
Sorry about this being 10 days old, but something else popped into my head when I was looking at the donations for sale again. (I also thought that I would be better to post here than to make a new thread.) Say I bought a donation (or more) from someone else, and that someone else is using an illegal payment method, (to the best of your knowledge.) In any way come back to harm me? (out side of ecc.) Thank you for your time. @legotom001
Please be aware that if your scenario happens, you may lose the features that were purchased illegally without compensation. But you can rest easily. If you do things in good faith, it shouldn't come back on you in a negative way outside ECC. Make sure you keep screenshots of all transactions so you can show it was not you who made the purchase.
