So it came to my attention that many players like to play SG but don't like the fact that other players use kits... So they tend to stray away from playing...and it seems to me that PvP isn't very big on Ecc...this is probably because there is no gain of money when you win in PvP. So i am hear to change that... I want to start a pvp event but i need the Ecc communities thoughts on if they would participate or not... The first event will be held on Saturday April 12th 2014 around 2:00 pm CST (subject to change as family matters may show up) but i plan on sticking to that time Here are the guidelines and rules: Guidelines: Unfortunately my arena is not big enough to hold everyone on Ecc, so it will be 8 players in the arena at a time... Going in at groups of 8... The winner of each group will then be put in a winners brackets... And they will then face the other winners from the other group... If we only get 8 players then the winner will be determined by whoever wins out of those 8 players The entry fee will be 500 per player hopefully giving a chance for all ecc community members a chance to participate (i bet you think the entry fee is for me... Well its not keep reading ) The first place winner gets 50% of the entry fees and a little extra from my personal ecc account Second place winner gets 25% of the entry fees The rest goes to me to help make the arena better and fund the event Also the more money you win is based on how many players are in the event... So if you think you are the best PvPer then i recommend having all your friends and fellow Ecc members join so you have a shot at earning more money All armor and weapons will be provided by me so that everything in the event is fair... Lastly i will hold this event as much as possible... If you are the Ecc PvP champion 3 times in a row there will be a special prize (Eco city dollars and maybe some items) Now the Rules: 1. There will be no FLY allowed, due to the fact that not all Ecc members have fly so its not fair 2. No potions will be allowed, if you are caught with potions you are disqualified 3. No PvP hacks ( simply those are against Ecc rules and will get you disqualified and probably other punishment in game) 4. Pyro+ is allowed although you cannot hide in lava because it gives you an unfair advantage and some members dont have pyro or pyro+ which could cause them to catch on fire and die 5. Lastly have fun and follow all other PvP rules that are provided by Ecc If any members have problems with the rules or think rules should be added or changed feel free to direct message me and we will discuss them Thanks Finally for all you players who might not be the best at Pvp (like myself): Betting: I will have a betting system setup for you to place bets on who you think will win... You will pay me your bet and i will write it down along with your name.. I have been to your arena and it looked so fun! Although I'm not a PvP'er (In fact, I haven't done any real PvP in my MC career) I'd love to participate in the event your planning once it's complete!
