Over my time in eco i have seen people become rich off pumpkins and in my opinion i still think they need to be decreased
Nonononono they are low enough. If you really need an explanation, I'll do it when I'm on a computer and not my iPod.
If this is a suggestion it should be in the suggestions forum. And I did a test to see how much I could make per hour pumpkin and melon farming along with mining. Using my pumpkin and melon farms I made about 1k less per hour on both than mining so I think that pumpkin prices are fine. One problem with raising pumpkin prices is that users with massive 200x200 multi level farms would earn money a lot quicker which is a reason for a lower pumpkin price.
Let me think out loud here. (This is for one chunck) Lets see hight limit of 255. 4 layers needed for one floor of farm. That's 63 layers. 256 blocks a layer. Lets just say half of the blocks are for the stems (Yea there are a lot better ways to plant I know) so thats 128 pumpkins a floor. So thats $96 a floor. 96 times 63 is $6,048. Hmmm I have to say the current prices should be raised based of my quick five second calculations.
