Hey guys, i wanna start a petition to get the price of pumpkins back up. If its possible lol. Wheat takes forever to grow and melons and sugar cane are dirt cheap... So pumpkins are the only ting to farm. I understand that people make a fortune off of that, but its needed lol. Its so boring sitting in a wheat field waiting for one patch to grow for an hour. So if you agree vote!
No way! Pumpkin Prices are fine where they are. It's still the best money maker if you have the proper tools. It would be terrible to increase it again. However, I wouldn't mind seeing sugarcane go up at least another .1 to .30 each. Right now there is still no point at all to even try to farm it.
Disagree my 10 floor WHEAT farm grows lightning fast and I make about 3k a harvest. Also I can harvest multiple times a day
Also as stated at the time andrew LOWERED pumpkin prices... "The server is practically made of pumpkins!" I think thats what he said.
The fact the everyone on the server basically understood that the fastest, easiest, and most popular way to make money was farming pumpkins, means that most were working hard on their pumpkin farms. Eventually the price had decreased and the no longer made the money that was making everyone happy. The best plan was to start farming wheat, sugarcane, etc. I say pumpkins shall be increased in price!
Wow... This reminds me of when pumpkins went from $2 to $1.50. I supported it then and i support the price decrease now. Pumpkins should not be the only major source of income. The fact that the forums and in-gma echat are now filled with people complaining and whining that they lose 50 cents a pumpkin is ridiculous. Kingjames236 apparently quit over the price change is what i understood. People, you need to GET OVER IT! If you don't think pumpkins are a good source of income, great! Go farm some reeds or, god forbid, go mining! There should be more than one way to make decent money on this server and if you don't like the price change then guess what! No one cares! Stop your whining and convert your farm to reeds!
Has anyone ever compared on how much you make pumpkin farming an hour and how much you make mining an hour, I agree that a price drop was probably best for pumpkins but shouldn't there be higher prices for mining or exp which I thought would be implemented when the farming prices changed. Mainly mining should rise in prices as I still think that mining for an hour isn't as profitable then pumpkin farming for an hour even with a $1 price or other types of farming. Wouldn't it be better to raise prices in mining or exp trade then to lower prices in farming? Also who would be mad if you raised prices in anything even if it isn't pumpkin prices? Thats just my two cents.
Melon farming is better if you have silk touch. At $2 per block, it's the best money maker, yet it requires something special to get that $2 per block. Pumpkins should NOT go up in my opinion, they should be lowered to $0.50 and stay that way. Melons should stay at $2, wheat should be $1.50-$1.75, and sugar cane NEEDS to go up to around $0.30-$0.50 per piece. That's just my opinion on this.
