Please don't try to stir up a flamewar. on-topic. Crossfire is completely right, you want it higher because you are convinced that you can't make any money any more but it just TAKES A BIT LONGER. Now instead of spending 10 hours to get 350k, you have to spend 15 hours to get 350k. The reason you are against this is because you are like crossfire said "dependent" on pumpkin farming and that you can't get any profit any more. What I see here is "I want more money" You made 30-35k an hour and you are used to that, now that you are being 'disadvantaged' you complain, while you still make a large amount of money and now you have to work a couple of hours longer to get your money from farming back but It's still a worthwhile investment From the moment you have made your money back you will make pure profit There are no more costs and you will make 20k an hour. a miner makes 5k an hour with current prices on average and if they are lucky they will make up to 10k. With a high mining level the average is around 2-3k higher but still not enough to come even a tiny bit close to farming. This is why I think farming is fine as it is. Conclusion: Farmers make pure profit when they made more money than what they invested so they will make 20k of PURE profit an hour, therefore pumpkin farming should not be raised back to $1.50 Notes: 1, I refer to pumpkin farmers as farmers in this thread. 2, I have gathered my data from people with high level mcmmo mining/farming and from people with low level mcmmo mining/farming
I agree with kuke. I would say 99% of presidents+ farm every spare second they get with effy V axes. And I would also say that almost all presidents+ paid for it by working on a 200x200 farm to make tons of money. Is this fair to builders? NO. They can't get 200x200 pump farms, even if they work for somone they are giving them pumpkins which then the master sells for huge profits and no work. And the builders get about half of what the pumpkins are worth. If a builder did have a 200x200 farm then they would have a fair chance at getting lots of money.But this is not the case. So most the presidents and tycoons sit there either farming or making somone else farm for them and then waste money on things like lotto or pvp gear instead of givign builders a chance to grow in the community and not have to resort to scamming and griefing to make their money.

All of them have first of all worked very hard to build the farm, second of all most of all the presidents i know well(a lot more than you do) do work a lot as well, mostly farming like the workers. 2nd of all the thing about builders should have a 200x200 farm to make it fair, makes no sense to me. all the presidents went through all the ranks trying a lot of ways of making money, so yea we did struggle to get money as well. We didn't just instantly get our 200x200 farms when getting president. we worked all the way from builder to president without having a 200x200 farm(some might have made it when mayor) and since i guess you have no experience with managing a 200x200 farm, i think you should maybe ask around, instead of just saying something which isn't true. and btw grahamster00 same goes with u saying that all press spend 99% of their time farming, if that was true, i think u would see a lot more millionaires. another thing, when i joined, pumpkins were 2 each and ppl were making loads as well, still i managed to get president, so stop complaining about how hard it is for a builder to grow in the community. it now is easier than ever.

What about for people like me who just invested $60 in Fly/Speed, 400k and a month in building a 3 story 200x200 pumpkin farm (I haven't even farmed it yet), and bought an Efficiency 5 axe. I haven't even started using my farm yet, but it's already worthless.
t is not worthless. You can still farm it. As kuke said it will just take more work to make youe money back. A little extra work didn't kill anyone. The reason pumpkin prices went down in the first place is because it was Too easy to make money I am a pumpkin farmer with a 40x40 pump farm and i could stand seeing pumpkin prices dip even lower. Because it isn't my only source of income. I don't rely on pumpkins so i am not affected by the drop. All it means to me is i have to work harder and do more things to make more money.
Give it a couple of weeks and afterwards it's only profit profit profit, you won't think it's useless anymore.
