Project Principium

What is this?
Principium means beginning or start in latin. The idea of this project to provide new players with well.... a place to start. Constantly I see new players sit, trapped at spawn awaiting for somebody to answer their calls for a new home. Many are left unanswered and so they leave the server in frustration. Project Principium (Project P for short), is here to fix that.

This land was too good to destroy so we decided to simply integrate the apartment rooms into the mountain itself giving it a natural feel. The lake was actually man made thanks to S&S Construction who also played a huge role in pretty much everything involved in this town. @Aqua_Luna3 also gave huge help assisting with basically everything as well. @BuildsByGideon was the designer for the 2 bridges.

What we offer:
We offer basically free rooms for all builders. In every room, we will have a setup "care package" which will contain a set of armour, tools, coal for furnaces, and food. Some rooms will cost however that is simply because of the size and view you get with it, but all prices are kept reasonable are easily obtainable. The most important thing that we added is a separate tutorial room which is located on the right when you first warp in. This includes all the basic commands, rules, info, and all the basic essentials that a builder would need to know to get started on ECC . We have also built and entire 200x200 2 layer farm underneath the ground that includes all the basic crops (cocoa, carrots, wheat, potato, nether wart, sugar cane, pumpkin, and 1 row of melon). There is also a small fishing hut but the most important thing that we offer is guidance.

Future plans:
For future plans, we plan to hopefully be able to add quite a few more perks. This includes a PvP arena, mcmmo trainer with a heal sign, acrobatics trainer, a mining world portal, perhaps even a zoo including all the animals on ECC, etc.

How you can help:
The main way you can help is to simply direct any builders you see looking for plots in our direction. You can contact either myself, one of our co-mayors (@Aqua_Luna3, @Silentshot90, @_Smokin, @drowninginpizza @_NIAGARA_, @MollyZhu) or if none of us are online, you can simply direct them to this thread :). All donations are welcome as well, as you can see we have high hopes for this place and have a ton planned for the future. If you wish to make any sort of donation (could use some plain diamond pickaxe's atm, running low), please contact myself, @THCOOL. As of right now, we are fine on the amount of co-mayors that we have, however, in the future if something happens and things get too hectic, we may look for some help so keep an eye open for that (I will update thread if we are looking for any co-mayors).

• @fenolix for donating his town of 'spidchunga1000'. This town will be used to sell open plots to any builders who wish to build.

Thank you and yes, I put on my staff application that I was going to help and this project is just that. We have high hopes for this place just need to be patient until we get some residents

 

Update:

We have added a 9 members to the town since the launch of this project just a few days ago. Bad news is that we've had to evict 1 user for griefing AND not replanting, and another user's grief was so bad that they were actually the temp-banned and then obviously kicked from the town. Our entire cocoa field (over 9k) has been griefed/stolen as well as some other crops on the farm. Town will have to be closed until we've collected enough cocoa/crops to replant everything. Its shame, the users seemed so friendly as well . Will update once town has re-opened​

 

Its the appt's that are in the mountain, the farm is actually completely underground . Thank you though, i think it turned out pretty cool as well

 

We have a mini tutorial setup within the town which we make ALL new residents read before we even show them the rooms. In here its included that griefing is a serious offense. It also states in both the town AND farm rules to not grief and to replace anything you break. This was clearly not a mistake, this was intentional.

Anyway though, I am pleased to announce that Project P is back open! Thanks for @7263cameron for selling us the cocoa beans at server price. Also thanks to @spider_hunter5 and @GMaxx for planting some of those beans. And finally thanks to @Aqua_Luna3 for purchasing those beans and helping plant as well!​

@SirSpuzzy for donating $5,000! This money was immediately used to purchase diamonds that were used to craft some more armour that is included in our "care package" for new players upon joining.​

While we were able to get a few more full sets of armour, at the rate we're going right now, it will be all gone within the next few days. If you have any non-enchanted diamond tools or armour lying around, we ask that you please donate. He has also offered to give free enchanted repairs for all residents of this town. Our next mini-project is to setup an e-repair room next to the farm, so this will definitely help and come in handy, thanks again!​

 

Thank you! Just a quick normal repair and they would be good as new... Yes wed certainly accept them. We currently do not have bows/rods in the care package. We have a small fishing hut in which we sell cheap rods but other than that, we do not provide bows/rods. However, that could change though if we get a large quantity of them through donations . I can setup a chest right beside /warp p and simply /cmodify you to if, that way you can add to it over time even when im not online. Would this work?
