When using /back after teleporting to spawn, I get returned to a random spot in the spawn instead of where I originally was.It has happened several times and I have heard from another player that they had the same issue. The result is not consistent and sometimes it works right, but right now it is only working when I'm returning from anywhere but spawn. Like I use /spawn and cant use /back to return. I just thought that I would post on the forum to make sure you know about it.
Thing is, I have not o.o I've only heard of the Donators having this problem, not the Moderators, maybe it's a permission issue? I /back'd from spawn the other day, it worked fine. How did you get to the spawn? Going through portals and a couple other forms of teleportation don't count on the /back.
Not bug. /spawn is now not an Essentials command, on this server, because andrewkm switched to multiverse. /back takes you to the place where you last teleported by Essentials from. Back has never worked for teleporting by other plugins, examples such as stargates would be a good example. If Essentials allowed the use of /back on all teleporting, you would find yourself returning to standing infront of a gate before walking through it, and in most cases, instantly teleported through it.
Hm, well thanks for the clarification Khobbits. Just a question though, is there a way to make it so that /back works with the /spawn command? Seeing as that tends to be one of the most common uses for it by players with the /back command. Not really bothered, just wondering.
So, if I get this correct, when old map got deleted /back will work normal again? offtopic: WOW! KH first post
Working on this at the moment, we can filter events like where the TP originated so can just do that it will only register commands. There will be a delicious config setting to turn this on
Le fixed as of Dev2.7.145 You will need to update CB to 1560 though (Don't get CB 1561 as it breaks mob spawning) Portals do not register in the teleport event so we be fine . There may be some other plugin related "thing" (technical word) that causes it to register as the last location.
