Reasons below: Open Discussion: To make Pumpkin Pie you need 3 ingredients, 1 is egg which will become quite rare due to killing off chickens due to lag issues. If you see below, when you sell each item individually to the server you can do so for $1.30 total, yet, combine them and you only sell for $1.25 as pumpkin pie. Egg - #344 - $0.25 Pumpkin - #086 - $0.75 Sugar - #353 - $0.30 Personally I would like to see the price maybe even higher as it has a food restore of 4 which is comparative to cooked pork chops (minus the saturation effect that the chops give you), however, I have noticed with almost everything I have checked that when you combine items to make something different, the new item is no different in price than selling the ingredients individually.
Cool idea Like that pple think like me where if you buy a bunch of different items and craft them together the final item should be worth more not less.
Makes sense to make at least equal. And with eggs rarer, it would make more sense to at least have a small price increase--either on the eggs (therefore raising the price on anything made with eggs), or the pie. ...and I would love to have a "pumpkin pie" business, if the price were to be a little more. Personally I think the price of anything crafted should be higher. If you have the time to sit and craft, there should be a benefit to it as opposed to just /sell hand all the time. I might put my thinking cap on and put a post up regarding crafted food in general. As for the cute old lady eating pumpkin pie..... will leave you to dream
