Item: Flint Data Value: 318 13E Current Price: 0.05 Suggested Price: 0.15-0.25 Where it can be found: Flint can only be obtained by chance by mining up gravel. Why?: Gravel and flint both have the exact same price, while gravel is more likely to appear when mined. Flint, however, is a less common drop from gravel, therefore making it slightly more valuable, like how the grass block and the dirt block differ in prices. I understand that flint doesn't have many purposes in ECC, but as I mentioned before, flint is a possible drop of gravel, making it at least a few cents more valuable than gravel.
You can gain flint by using /kit starter and /kit flint since flint is used to tell what region you are in.
use /kit flint to get flint for free and u use it to check if a piece of land is owned by someone (right click with the flint in ur hand). Also if flint was worth more ppl would just piled up gravel and dig it back up until you have a ton of flint.
I agree that flint should be worth more than gravel. I wouldn't set it to more than $.10 though because you can lay gravel and use a fortune 3 shovel to always get flint instead. Even with that, it is WORK to change gravel into flint AND it requires a fortune 3 shovel to do that. I currently use a silk touch on gravel because, 1, flint and gravel are the same price, and 2, having both flint and gravel on my person takes up an extra inventory spot. If flint were worth more, I would probably use a fortune 3 shovel so I can sell the flint for more. But, still, I'm using a FORTUNE shovel to make a FORTUNE, albeit a small fortune very slowly.
