Highly agree with this, maybe even $20. Now it seems as though fishing is the worst 'job' you can employ yourself with as apposed to farming of any crop
Fishing will not be raised because of auto-fisher who could go afk for hours and still make money. All the people complaining fish used to be like $5 just imagine it never got a rise go back to other ways of making money.
There have been quite a few suggestions to raise the fishing prices recently however there are many factors that andrewkm has to acknowledge, including those who autofish. Autofishing is (for those dont know what autofishing is) using a client sided mod/hack to make it fish for you while you are either just staring at the screen, or not even at the computer, AFK autofishing is illegal, meaning you have to be at your computer. But back to the reasons the prices where lowered, Autofishers could EASILY make good money in a hour with them just sitting there, while for all the other forms of gaining money, Farming, mining, exp grinding, require you to be at your computer, and be active while doing so. The staff cannot just say ok lets make autofishing illegal either because it is not super easy to always catch someone who is autofishing, it requires some time. I feel the current price's for fish are right where they need to be to the point that you CAN gain some money if you have fish, however you cant make as much as other people while doing no work. If you really are a fisherman, and use autofish and do not want to do something else, then expect to be fishing for a few hours more a day, because I know that andrewkm has stated multiple times that fish prices will not be raised. Note for staff: If any of this info is false please do tell me so i can change it or you personally can change it, this is just what im understanding from what has recently been going on. ~pbrassat17
Most autofishers use a macro. I use a NXT robot that periodically clicks the mouse. But, hacked clients like Nodus are illegal altogether. Autofishing is definitely not JUST a mod/hack.
But many times it is I took a survey on ghos a few days ago 78.3 users that i surveyed said they use client sided mods/hacks.
I agree that there is a majority mod/hack usage, but I wanted to clarify that not every autofisher uses them.
Can you track down an auto-fisher? It is close to impossible to catch someone auto-fishing, the mods can't ban them if they can't prove they are doing it.
