Why has wheat gone down? I have had to convert all my farms to pumpkin farms and I wondering why. The shift from $2 to $1 has set me back from getting Mayor till Septembe an now I have just found out about the price increase so I'm probably not going to get Mayor till next year!
Bread just went down to the exact price of wheat.. if u craft something it should be worth more then the materials
As I stated on a different thread (the wheat scandal one) I think lower wheat prices = poor mayors = poor workers = a recession of good workers. I remember planting wheat for a mega farm and being inspired with random ideas. Pumpkins and melons turn me into a zombie and I drool on my keyboard out of boredom (just kidding). Wheat is very profitable and although yes it does create semi automatic wheat farms, those create lots of jobs. The bigger, the more employed which is connected on the other thread. I seriously think that wheat is important to this exonomy as it is to a better ECC (which is right now close to impossible)
Many people are still making money really fast without pumpkins and melons, and some even without wheat... There should not be a major focus on wheat (like before), either. People should be mining, pumpkin, melon, /and/ wheat farming, and, here's something for people: You make more money farming obsidian with Eff 3+ than with a lot of food-farming methods. Go try it; might need a water placer or good water manipulation, but it's extremely profitable and no one seems to notice...
