Profit How many times did you recreate this bug?: 2x. I have been playing around trying to get drops from manually placed clay ever since the change. Result: Clay acts as if it is naturally spawning clay and gives normal xp and drops. Expected Result: I was told that manually clay no longer allows for drops/xp Evidence: None. If this is allowed/ is not a bug, please let me know. TY.
I believe this is because after certain restarts (like the ones that reset the chat channels) any blocks on the map are considered "natural". If this is correct, I doubt it can be changed.
Very interesting. I'll do some further testing to see if this coincides. Thank you. Now, although extremely minor and not a economy breaking issue, is it OK that I use this to my advantage? I just want to be honest and use this with no fear of repercussions. Am I allowed to farm manually placed clay for the explicit purpose of getting xp/drops?
Just to put it out there. 1) I have been placing clay blocked in certain intervals and testing regularly. 2) Andrew logged on today and there was a restart. 3) All clay blocked placed before the restart are farmable, including those done just before the restart. 4) Logs still work and show the clay placed (they have not cleared). 5) I asked RevanRose if I was allowed to place clay blocks specifically to farm them for xp/drops, and she said yes. Unless I am told otherwise, I will consider the matter closed.
